Found this sign in the Low Gap Cafe in
Low Gap Arkansas. They had a number of
signs on the check out counter, this being one.
We had heard that the Cafe was run by a
famous chef and worth the drive over.
It was about an hour and a half drive from
the house and almost all country driving.
We enjoyed the drive over and found the
food to be excellent.
As a result we often went over for special
occasions. You know, time to get out of the
house etc. and always enjoyed the trip and
the food.
However, the last time we went over,
[Several years ago now.] something was
different. The food was - well, food.
That was all you could say for it. It just
was not up to it's usual standard.
I just pulled it up on Google maps. The
cafe is there and the map calls it by name,
BUT, there is not one car anywhere around
it.
Maybe there was more to that sign than
I realized.
