THE OLD RUGGED CROSS

A few years ago my wife and daughter wanted
me to make a cross and put it up in the yard.
One of my favorite hymns is "The Old Rugged
Cross."  Of course that was the thought that
kept going through my mind.  So nothing slick
or fancy would do.  It needed to be old and rugged.

You guessed it.  I make it out of old railroad ties.

NOT POPULAR TODAY

The cross and what it stands for is very
offensive to people who do not like the
truth.

Hey!
This one is not even at a church,
but at a private residence.

They must be more concerned about
what God thinks,
than people.
