TALK, TALK, TALK

I found this in a house out in California

a number of years ago.

You can be sure that if the author of this 

is a public speaker, he, she, it does not

repeat themselves, but will;

Review, Reiterate and Recapitulate,

until you are tired of hearing them talk.

Since then I have run into the same thing

you often have.  On the internet I will see

an advertisement of something I truly am

interested in.  They will ask you to watch

a video.  I have my credit card in hand because

I intend to buy.  BUT, they will talk 20 to 

30 minutes on the video.  They will not 

shut up and tell me how to buy.  They

simply go on and on repeating what they

have already said until I shut them off.

I have learned not to watch their stupid

videos.

Perhaps that is why the Bible says;

I have picked up on another fact of life.

I hate to admit it, but probably noticed

it first in my own self.

Most people have plenty of time to talk,

but not to listen.  After they have said what

they want to say, they are too busy to stop

and listen to you.

Again, that is probably why God through

the Apostle James said;

"Understand this, my dear brothers

and sisters; You must all be quick to

listen, slow to speak, and slow to get

angry."
