NO RUSH.
This boy was just out paddling around on the
lake at Fort Rock Family Camp. He was not
in a race. He was not fishing. He was not
going somewhere. He was just enjoying life.
I know. There are many people who will
not get off their "rear end" and it is killing
them. They are just not smart enough to
know it. They need to do something for
their own good. BUT.
But, how about the rest of us?
Most of us have spent our lives working
"eight to five" making a living and then hurry
home to work at everything there. Then we
fall exhausted into bed so we can do the
same thing tomorrow.
Do we really need all the stuff we are working
so hard to get. Are we wasting a lot of our time
and effort to acquire things we will lose when
we die anyway?
Some of us need to slow down and enjoy the
life God has given us. Forget about getting
more things that we cannot keep anyway and
get acquainted with God who gives us all
things anyway.
