I know. It is a sunset taken standing in my driveway.
And if I were as young as you are, that would be all
I would see. But, at my age having outlived most of
my contemporaries and out lived our so called span of
life, I see something different.
I see my "day" here on earth coming to a close. Soon
my night will be here. So, the question in my mind is
have I accomplished what God put me here on earth
to do? Am I ready to stand before Him in judgement?
"We must quickly carry out the tasks
assigned us by the one who sent us.
The night is coming, and then no
one can work."
