SLOW DOWN

COME ON NOW!
l.5 mph.
I can walk faster than that.

This is one speed limit that I have never obeyed.

CHEAPER YET

A few weeks ago I posted some photos taken with
an old 2 MP camera.  The purpose was just to try and see
what I could do with a small "MP" camera.

After that challenge, a new one entered my mind.
See how cheap I could buy a camera - and still take pictures
for the internet.

The camera above I purchased on eBay for, $1.00.
Yes, one as in dollar.

One this particular camera the shipping was $2.41.   Lord,
bless that lady for not ripping me off on shipping fees.

Now I am a simple old man.  You will have to help
me add it up.

camera: $1.00
shipping: $2.41

?.??

True,
it had a broken battery door - but it worked.

Since I have repaired the battery door with "JB weld".
Fine little camera now.

O.K.  So now I have to look for a cheaper one.

The images below were taken with the camera
just to prove it does work.

The neighbors field on west side.

Off hwy 295

In Hindsville.

And yes, it is the same old tractor that is in my header.
But the building had been painted since, and it's raining.

Same tractor.  Love that simple drive.

Off hwy 45 near Clifty.
They just finished building it last year.

Also the west side neighbor's field.
But from the other place.

Boundary line between me and neighbor on east side.

Tree on my place.
They do not grow stuff like this in town.

Neighbor's field northwest of my place.

SNOW?????

YES, YES, YES.

You have seen snow before.
You have seen more snow than these photos.
And you have seen much prettier pictures of snow
than these.

This area has very little snow in the winter.
In 40 years here, I can only remember one
white Christmas.

Our snow usually comes in the months of January and
February.  Even the gardeners here know that our last
frost to worry about will be by April the 15th or before.

But these photos were taken the morning of May 3rd, 2013.

Here we go again.
Those white specks between the cedar tree and camera are -
SNOW.
The next morning.

We have never had snow this late in the season.
In fact, the paper said this morning that we have never
in recorded history had snow this late in this area.

But then, we have never had "Global Warming" before either.

THE GATHERING STORM

There is a storm coming.
ARE YOU READY?
"Be careful not to let yourselves become
occupied with too much feasting and
drinking and with the worries of this life,
or that Day may suddenly catch you like a
trap.  For it will come upon all people
everywhere on earth.  Be on watch and
pray always that you will have the
strength to go safely through all those
things that will happen and to stand
before the Son of Man."
(Luke 21:34-36 GNT)
