SAVE THE TICK

Hey!
If you have lived as long as I have -
you know that someone is always coming up with some
goofy cause.
The trend is to down play mankind's God given position
to that of simply part of the animal kingdom.

Have you gotten your "green" cause yet.
Something to save the ecological relationships
of man and beast?
Something to make a name for yourself?

Consider "SAVE THE TICK".

See that little guy above.
It's on someone's arm (Or body).
If you will leave him (it) alone it can become
as big as the fatty below.

All they want is some of your body fluids.
You have plenty if you are in good health.
Share some with a tick.

Make it a goal to save several type (species) of tick.

Yes.
Ticks can give you tick fever.
But what has that got to do with it?
Ticks were here before you were born.
Don't they have a right to live too?

Some one smart said the one above is a female.
Sure beats me.
I'll confess.
I have been killing all of them I could get
my hands on.
PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

Look at this beautiful selection of ticks.

I know.
Your question is,
"WHERE CAN I GET MY OWN TICK?"

The easiest way is to get off the couch.
Then take a hike or nature walk in the woods.
Some will hitch a ride home with you.

Lets save the ticks for future posterity.

  1. Oh my goodness... save the tick huh? Nope.
I'm not jumping on that bandwagon. The more of those nasty critters I can kill, the better.
    lol
