SIMPLICITY AT IT'S BEST.

This photo will not mean much to many of you.
But as an old real tired [retired] auto mechanic,
I just love it.  The very simplicity of this old
tractor.

There were just a few cars running yet with this
simplicity when I was a young man.  What  you
will not believe is that they actually ran, and that
WITH OUT ELECTRONICS.

This of course is not a car but a tractor that I
ran across in Lytle Creek California a few years
ago.

Yes, it makes me long for the simplicity of "The
good old days."

THAT'S THE WAY THINGS ARE

I like that table. It is symmetrical with nice clean flowing
lines. It is attractive and simple.
It may not be the most substantial design in the world,
but it is only to eat on.
And more than anything. It would be easy to clean.
If I make a mess, just a wipe with a damp rag and
I'm done. Neat.

"LETS EAT".

"NO"

It has to have a table cloth on it to make it pretty
and protect the finish.

OK, there's your table cloth. Now lets eat.

"NO"

You can't. You might get the table cloth dirty.
You have to have place mats to protect the
table cloth.

OK. There's your place mate, dollies thingies.
Now let's eat.

"NO"

You can't eat like that. You have to have lots of
stuff on the table to share it with you.

That's better. Now you cannot hog all the room for
yourself.
You will have to be careful not to knock something over
and watch it when you get in and out of your chair so
you do not catch anything and pull it all off.

You can eat now.

There is something about this that sounds too much
like life.
Perhaps even church.
