CHOICE RABBIT

I have raised a lot of rabbits in my lifetime.
Most of course were just for meat.  But this
little guy ended up being my favorite.

Only a grandfather will understand this.  But
my great granddaughter wanted a rabbit of her
own for a pet.  And of course she was at an age
of only about ten - when you would do anything
in the world for them if you could.  [She is on her
own now.  She is nineteen, has a job, car of her
own and a boy friend.  She don't need grandpa
anymore.  So she can buy her own rabbit.]

When she ask for a rabbit I was at least
smart enough to know that grandpa would
have to take care of it as long as it lived.
Sure enough that is the way it ended up.

So I took her and her brother to a live stock
auction.  I made high bidder on a litter of
rabbits.  So she chose this one.  She named
it "Dude".  Dude was really a real good
rabbit.  Dude lived may years here with
grandpa tanking care of him while the
granddaughter  went about her playing.
