GUIDANCE

O.K.
So it's a rabbit.  But what is the big deal?
Well!  The great granddaughter wanted a bunny.
So that is a command to grandpa, is it not?

I have raised rabbits on and off for years.
I have bought and sold rabbits.
I may not be smart about rabbits, but I have learned a little.
All rabbits do not make good pets.

We planned on going to the live stock auction in the neighboring county.
This old man was not about to pay the price a pet shop asks for
and unknown quality rabbit.

Prayer time.
I ask God to go ahead of us and have the right rabbit for us.
To prepare the way and give us a good rabbit for the kids.
You know,
"Trust in the Lord with all you heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight you paths."
-Proverbs 3:5,6 (RSV)

At the sale grandpa was able to come up with enough money ($7.00)
to let the granddaughter take her pick out of a large cage fully of rabbits.

I never in my life have seen a rabbit adapt so quickly to a new life.
Even on the way home in the kids laps.

END OF A HARD DAY

I know how that feels.
Been there and done that.
It's either hard work or old age.
But a good night's rest seemed to fix it.

It latter made the 1.7 mile over to my place and graded
my drive way.

Thank God for healed road graders.
